Puebla celebrates its Independence and the Mexican Revolution

The Municipal Council of Puebla de Zaragoza, Mexico, has prepared a series of activities commemorating the bicentennial of Independence and the centenary of the Mexican Revolution.

 

Until 1st June, the city will hold a celebration. Cultural events including exhibitions of old photos, junior competition of images on the concept of freedom, conferences, book presentations and puppet shows. Among the expected activities, there are: on May 31st, the conference on "La Batalla del 5 de mayo: trascendencia e impacto en el México Contemporáneo" by Patricia Galeana, as well as the official announcements "Miradas de Ayer 1900-1920" and "Dale un Click a la Libertad" .

 

Puebla de Zaragoza is a member of Metropolis since 2005.
