Following the decision taken in Moscow within the framework of the last METROPOLIS (the World Association of Major Metropolises) Board of Directors meeting to create a World Fund for City Development, METROPOLIS  international conference entitled “Metropolises and the Crisis: Global Challenge, Local Answers” , will take place in Paris on 12 October 2009. METROPOLIS members and stakeholders are invited to attend this meeting

METROPOLIS will use the occasion to organize the first public presentation of the World Fund for City Development.
