It is our pleasure to inform you that the 2009 Metropolis Board of Directors´ meeting will be held from May 21 to 24, 2009 in Moscow, Russia and will focus on the discussion of the “Global Fund for cities Development”.

As part of the event, we will host a workshop on “Megacities”. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the special session organized by the Moscow Government “Year of Equal Opportunities” concerning the means of making life in metropolises more comfortable for disabled persons.

During your stay in Moscow, a city with world-renowned architecture and performing arts culture, we warmly encourage you to visit some historical sites such as Red Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Seven Sisters and Bolshoy Theatre, among others.
